Turn North off the A171 immediately to
the East side of the bridge over the River Esk. Continue
down Spital Bridge to Green Lane. (Signed to Whitby Abbey
and St Hilda's Business Centre). Turn right into Green
Lane and first left onto The Ropery.
Evelyn House is situated approximately 200 yards along
The Ropery on the left in the direction of the Abbey and
overlooking the harbour.
